Many people opt for cleansing and detoxifying their bodies because they have been feeling a bit sluggish and bloated due to the unhealthy foods that they have been consuming. They have started depending on caffeine and unhealthy snacks when they are hungry. Their hectic lifestyles don’t give them enough time to prepare healthy lunches and dinners. Hence, they end up relying on takeout or tinned food, which really doesn’t have any health benefits.

Juice cleansing is a great way to get rid of the toxins that have been built up in your body over time. If you’re looking to cleanse your body, then there are some amazing juice cleanse recipes that you can try out. These recipes are quite delicious, and you’d probably want to continue with your juice cleansing diet for a long time to come. However, before you start with a juice cleanse, it’s always advisable to consult your physician.

Let’s take a look at some of the most popular juicing recipes to cleanse your body of toxins.

#1-The Ultimate Green Boost

The base of this green booster is celery. It’s actually a nutritional powerhouse. Packed with vital amino acids, phosphorus, iron, calcium, magnesium, folic acid, and potassium, it definitely adds a lot of nutrients that you may be missing out on a daily basis. If this is not enough, it also happens to be one of the most alkalinizing ingredients for your body.

To make the ultimate green boost, you’ll need one bunch of celery, four to five leaves, preferably of lacinato, one green apple, one large handful of parsley leaves (flat-leafed), one lime, one lemon, and an inch of fresh ginger. Mix them all up together to create a detoxifying cocktail. If you’d like, you can also add one tablespoon of organic coconut oil. However, this is optional, so, if you don’t have it handy, it’s completely fine.

#2-The Red Cleansing Miracle

The main ingredient of this juice is beetroot, which is actually a blood cleanser. No other fruit or vegetable can come close to how a beetroot can cleanse your body of toxins. Additionally, it’s extremely nutritious as it’s loaded with folate, Vitamin C, iron, potassium, and manganese.

To prepare this deep red and yummy elixir, you’ll need three small beetroots, two to three apples, about eight ounces of blackberries, and half an inch of fresh ginger. Juice all the ingredients together until smooth. Your delicious red concoction is ready to be served. If you like, you can also add ice.

#3-The Wild Dandelion Berry Wonder

This is a pulped juice that is extremely beneficial in cleansing your body. After preparation, the texture is very pleasing. So, it’s a pleasure to drink this wonder when you’re looking to detoxify your body.

To make this fabulous juice cleanser, you’ll need two cups of strawberries, and one cup of dandelion leaves. Keep a bit more leaves handy as it depends on taste. You’ll also need one cup of raspberries, one small chili with seeds intact but remove the placental skin. You can increase or decrease this quantity based on taste. Depending on the sweetness and the ripeness of the berries, you can even add about 10 to 20 drops of liquid stevia, which is alcohol free. This is completely optional though. So, you can choose not to add liquid stevia to your juice at all.

#4-The Sunny Morning Surprise

This juice cleanser is a perfect way to start your day. It’s extremely easy on your digestive system and also gently loosens build up that could have occurred in your body while you were asleep. To make this juicy morning surprise, you’ll need one medium-sized papaya. Ensure it is peeled, seeded, sliced and ripe. You’ll also need one small pineapple. Make sure that the pineapple has been peeled, cored, and sliced. To this add, about one inch of ginger, a medium-sized peeled kiwi, and one cup of fresh coconut water. Mix all the ingredients together except the coconut water. You’ll need to add the coconut water after you’re done juicing.

#5-The Green Exotic Blend

Due to the ingredients used in this juice, it makes a heavenly combo of herbal, sweet and exotic flavors. This yummy juice not only cleanses your body, but it’s also very nutritional. To make this exotic blend, you’ll need five large Fuji apples that need to be cored, about a two inch piece of sliced and fresh ginger, one medium-sized lime, and seven big sprigs of cilantro. Make sure that the cilantro is sectioned. Blend all the ingredients together, and your exotic blend is all ready.

#6-The Summer Juice Cleanser

Ideal for a summer juice cleanse, this juice is a perfect post-workout drink. Loaded with electrolytes and potassium, this juice is very nutritious as well. To make this healthy juice cleanser, you’ll need one coconut, one handful of kale and spinach each and one half of a banana.

Using a cleaver, crack the coconut open. Then pour the coconut water into the blender. Remove the meat of the coconut, and add that to the coconut water. Next, add banana, spinach and kale. Blend this mixture on high for about 30 seconds or until smooth. Use the empty coconut shell as a glass, and pour the smoothie into it. Serve with straw and ice. A very cool drink for the hot summers!

#7-The Spicy Juice Cleanser

This juice is meant for people who can handle a hot and spicy drink. To make this juice, you’ll need one-fourth of a fresh pineapple, one orange, one half handful of cilantro, and half of a small jalapeno. Ensure that the jalapeno is seeded. If you’re able to drink a spicier version, then you can probably take one full jalapeno instead of the half. Mix all the ingredients together and serve with ice.

Ideally a juice cleanse can be done for three days in a row. This means that you’ll not be eating anything solid. All your meals and snacks will be liquid. This is something that not many people can do as it requires a lot of determination and will. However, what you can do is start off by doing juice cleanse for a single day at a time and see how it goes. If you can get through a couple of days, then maybe you can try the five day detox program.
